Radial Pressure Wave Therapy

aka Shockwave Therapy

How does it work?

Radial pressure waves are acoustic waves that generate oscillations and cavitations in injured tissue. RPW Therapy helps reduce muscle pain and activate connective tissue, temporarily increasing blood flow and neovascularization. This results in analgesia (reduction of pain) and relaxation of tight tissues found in injured muscles, tendons, and trigger points. It also stimulates tendons and muscles to repair and remodel healing injuries.

RPWT can treat depths of tissue up to 6cm and large and superficial areas. Most conditions require 5-6 treatments once per week, each lasting 5-8 minutes. Therapeutic shock wave therapy is 1000x more powerful than ultrasound waves with little to no side effects.

It is a great alternative to medication.
